Pop-up Project: Design Charrette

  • New York School of Interior Design 170 E 70th St New York, NY, 10021 United States (map)

AFHny is happy to announce that on Tuesday, April 28th, 2015 at 7:00PM, we will be hosting a 2 hour design charrette for the construction of a CHICKEN COOP, in partnership with New York School of Interior Design.

AFHny partners with local communities on various projects who create programming in their space as teaching tools for children and the local community.  In an effort to help a Brooklyn Community Garden who operates on a volunteer basis, AFHny will host a Design Charrette to generate design concepts for a chicken coop and storage unit that local volunteers can build.

This will be an energized design charrette where new chicken coop designs will be explored that offer multiple uses for the garden.  Afterwards, we will have a sign-up sheet for attendees to continue their involvement on the project.

Specifications and an existing design will be shared once you have signed up using Eventbrite
